What Causes Hairfall?
Hair loss is a common concern, affecting 4 in 10 people today. The causes of hair thinning and alopecia are varied, with key factors including nutritional deficiencies such as low levels of Vitamin D, B12, iron, and protein, which often lead to hair fall. Hormonal imbalances, particularly conditions like PCOS, high DHT levels, and hormonal therapies, also contribute to hair thinning. Stress, both physical and emotional, is another well-known trigger for hair loss. The types of alopecia include Telogen Effluvium, a sudden hair loss caused by stress or nutritional issues, which can be treated by addressing the root cause and supporting hair regrowth. Androgenic Alopecia, or male and female pattern baldness, is often linked to genetics and hormonal changes, with treatment options including Minoxidil, PRP therapy, hair transplants, and peptides. Female Pattern Hair Loss, commonly associated with excess androgens, also requires targeted treatment approaches.
